The chapter 1 describes the context in witch this book is elaborate, it is a part of a series that includes all the sectors of high environmental impacts of Spanish economy like energy, cities, transport, etc. The chapter 2 talks about all the book editor organisations: la Fundación General de la U. Complutense de Madrid, Green Byuilding Council España and Asociación Arquitectura y Sostenibilidad (CSCAE). Chapter 3 offers an executive summary of the work in Spanish and English. Chapter 4 presents the report in all its spreading: introduction, characterisation of construction sector, sector impacts, prioritisation of impacts, catalysts of change and criteria for an action plan. Chapter 5 offers an opinion of six public administration representative experts, the architects collective, the professional colleges, ecology specialists, constructors and developers. It also includes an addendum of environmental statistics discussed.
